I would strongly like to believe that we all grew up with a stream of colors all around us. From our knowledge of the stable color of the blue skies and yellow sun down to the changing colors of the chameleon. It’s been a widely known myth that dogs amongst a few other animals do not have the ability to see colors. For the record, all animals do see colors, if not for anything else, they can for their very survival instincts. Although, they do not have as wide a color spectrum as humans do.
It can be easy to take color for granted, without thinking much about its full impact, how it works or how certain shades came about.
This video discusses to detail, some of the very little known mystery about colors.
